Eight pregnant young girls were rescued yesterday by the Ogun State police command from a baby factory located at 9 Sebanjo Crescent, off Fabolude Busstop, Akute area of Ifo LGA of Ogun State.

Wizkid and girlfriend Tania Omotayo have parted ways?

According to a Punch report, Wizkid and his longtime girlfriend, Tania Omotayo have parted ways. I don't know how true this is, if I were in Nigeria, I would have been able to find out ASAP! Anyway, if it's not true, I'm sure either Wizkid or Tania will refute the story on social media. Before now, sensational singer, Wizkid and his pretty babe, Tania Omotayo, used to be an item. But it seems things are no longer at ease between the young couple.

In fact, it looks like they have carried their 'beef' to the social media going by what they posted on their Instagram pages earlier in the week.

Tania had posted a picture with the caption, 'just because you love somebody so much does not mean they are the right one for you.'

Soon after, the singer posted a picture where he itemised inscriptions, 'single, married, in a relationship, it is complicated, in the studio.' On the list, he marked 'in the studio.'  In other words, telling his fans that he was neither single nor married and of course, not in any relationship.

For a while, there have been speculations that the couple were having problems as they have not been spotted together at events as frequently as they used to. Those who know claimed they have moved on with their lives. In fact, a source close to the couple confirmed to Saturday Beats that their relationship is over.

The source claimed the lovebirds went their separate ways last December. Although the reason for their split is still unknown, the source was doubtful whether either of them was in a relationship.

"They have split for a long time now. In fact, I think it was since December. I don't know why they broke up and I don't know if Wizkid is in another relationship but they are no more together," the source said.

When Saturday Beats called the singers manger, Godwin Tom, to confirm the split, he did not pick his calls neither did he reply the text message sent to him.

17 killed as Boko Haram bomb market in Borno

Members of the dreaded Islamic sect yet again struck in the remote village of Nguro-Soye in Borno state on Thursday, bombing a market place and killing 17 people in the wake of the attack. The news of the attack is just coming to light now because the sect members first destroyed all telecoms facilities in that area before embarking on their mission.

Police Chief Lawan Tanko confirmed the incident to AFP "An explosion in the market in Nguro-Soye killed 17 people. The attack on Nguro-Soye, as in previous attacks, is the handiwork of Boko Haram insurgents" he said.

Meanwhile the Borno State Government has ordered all schools to be shut down indefinitely until the tense situation as a result of the sect attack has been adequately addressed.

A teenage girl named Funmilola has been arrested by the Nigeria police after she attacked another teenage girl with a sharp object, slashing her neck, after accusing her of dating her boyfriend.

15year old Haliya Odunaya (pictured above), who is a senior secondary student is currently receiving treatment at Stars Clinic on Apapa Road in Ebute Matta after the brutal attack left her fighting for her life.

Her attacker, Funmi, who is said to be a little older that Haliya had warned her to steer clear of 'her man' or prepare to pay for it. On Saturday March 15th, Haliya paid, and paid big time.

After Funmi heard that Haliya and her boyfriend had met up that day, she went to Haliya's house to confront her. And that was where the attack took place. Continue...



Narrating what happened that day with reporters, Haliya denied having an affair the man in question.

"I was coming from where I went to buy something that night when Funmilola met me at the end of the street. She started pushing me and insulting me but I did not utter a word. When I entered our house, she stood outside and was shouting at the top of her voice heaping insults on my parents and I.

"At that stage I decided to respond to her threats and went to meet her to warn her against insulting my mother. After I had told her my mind, I turned to go back into our building and that was when she (Funmilola) dragged me back and produced a sharp object from under her cloths and attacked me with it," Haliya said

Haliya was left there in the pool of her blood until neighbours rushed her to the hospital. Doctors say she's is lucky to be alive. Meanwhile, the man has since denied dating both young girls.

Human skeletons, body parts, decomposing bodies, skulls and bones on bloodstained floors were discovered at an abandoned building in Soka, Oluyole LGA of Oyo State yesterday March 22nd. The bodies are believed to be unfortunate victims of ritual killing. Police officers also rescued about seven people who were chained together in leg-irons and looked emaciated. (The old woman pictured above was one of those rescued yesterday).

Containers containing human parts were also discovered in the bush surrounding the building. They say people go to the place in the dead of the night to buy human parts.

The abandoned house of horror was discovered after Okadamen in Ibadan discovered that some of their colleagues had gone missing...especially when they took passengers to that area. They decided to search the area and discovered skeletal remain...

After crying helplessly for nearly 24 hours inside a soak away pit, a day old-baby was over the weekend rescued from a pit in Olomore area of Abeokuta North local government of Ogun state.

An eyewitness said that residents of Surulere community in Olomore area of Abeokuta North woke up to a cry of a little baby coming from a soak away toilet behind a church in the area.

 

Residents said they'd heard the baby crying in the early hours of Saturday morning but could not link the cries to a particular direction. However, later in the day, around 6pm, the baby's crying became more pronounced and they traced it to a soak-away pit. There, they found the baby, a boy, who was alive with his placenta uncut.

 

The pit slab cover had collapsed some years ago and had not been replaced. The damaged slab concrete saved the baby from going deep into the soak-away pit. (Source - Telegraphng.com)

Some families of the passengers on the missing plane are now due to be booked on to flights to take them to Australia, where the plane is believed to have ended up.

The events of his church service broadcast live via Emmanuel TV on Sunday 23^rd March 2014 proved to be no different as The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) witnessed the confession of two lesbians who said 'demons' were behind their lifestyle.

Maria Terese George from Delta State, Nigeria explained to the congregation that her poverty-stricken background pushed her to seek help from an older lady. However, she had ulterior motives in promising to help the attractive 19 year old.  "She took me to a club where we went drinking," Maria explained while speaking in the packed church. "She took me to her house and started touching me. Because I was drunk, I responded."

The day after this drunken encounter, Maria (pictured above) had an unusual dream. "A half-naked lady came to me in the dream and fed me with rice, stew and meat." Upon waking up, Maria's affection for men disappeared and she began to admire her fellow females. "That was how the spirit of lesbianism entered me. I noticed that whenever I saw a female that was busty and curvy, I would always admire their features... I became a chronic lesbian,"she admitted.

The same lady who introduced her to lesbianism brought her into a local prostitution ring, assuring her that the riches she desired could easily be attained. "If I needed money, I would go to meet men who were very rich - politicians and businessmen - but if I wanted to enjoy sex or feel 'real' love, I would go for a woman."

Prostitution led Maria to a neighbouring African country where her immoral lifestyle seemed only to worsen. However, resources disappeared as readily as they arrived. After several years of frustration, she decided it was time to return to Nigeria.

"When I came back, I called some of my old partners for connections," Maria explained. "They started laughing at me and told me they are now married with kids." Maria was perplexed. She never thought it possible for one to leave lesbianism after tasting it.

"I was confused and asked them what they meant. All four of them independently told me they went to T.B. Joshua's church for deliverance," much to the delight of the crowd. "Maybe The SCOAN doesn't know that they have delivered a lot of lesbians," she added.

Making up her mind to visit the church based in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, her resolve was immediately followed by a terrible nightmare.  "That half-naked woman came to me in the dream and said, 'Look - you think you can leave me! Go and pick up a knife and kill yourself.' " Upon waking, Maria immediately packed her bags and left for The SCOAN that morning.

During the church service on Sunday 16^thMarch 2014, one of T.B. Joshua's 'Wise Men' prayed for Maria and she experienced the 'deliverance' her friends had spoken of. "I have never experienced that type of thing before! I had gone to other places for 'deliverance' but it didn't go. That is when I found myself even craving more for women." According to her, when prayed for, she began 'manifesting' and a strange voice spoke through her.

After the 'deliverance', Maria testified to a total transformation.  "I no longer have affection for women. When I see any woman, I don't feel it again - I see you as a sister or as my mother. I am seeing myself now as a woman that will settle with a man." Advising people, the former lesbian told the congregation, "This lesbian spirit is a very stubborn spirit - it takes the grace of God for it to leave you."

In his comments, T.B. Joshua said, "Don't hate the people; hate the act. Jesus loves the sinner but hates the sin. Now you are delivered, it is time to live in the Word," he warned Maria. "Because of Christ, you are delivered - for the salvation of your soul."

The story of Nneoma Onyema was not so dissimilar. Running away from home aged 18 and becoming a hair stylist in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, a rich lady approached her in the salon one day. After complimenting her appearance, she gave Nneoma extra money and invited her to a high profile club. Intoxicating the teen with alcohol, she awoke the next morning in bed with the lady carousing her.  "She changed my name to Jennifer and took me to a man who put tattoo of love on my back," she explained to the church. Immediately after this encounter, Nneoma's affection and attention turned only to females.

Dancing in a club to make a living, she had no contact whatsoever with her family who hadn't heard from her in three years. However, after being viciously attacked by a girl who claimed she 'took' her girlfriend, a friend advised Nneoma, whose life was clearly in a mess, to visit T.B. Joshua's church in Lagos for help.

"When the Wise Man prayed for me, I felt an electric shock pulsating through my entire body" Nneoma recounted her experience. The 'demon' that spoke through the young Nigerian said it was 'a great lesbian' and had tormented her life.

In a remarkable twist of fate, Nneoma's brother Emmanuel who had not seen her for three years was in The SCOAN congregation that very day. "I always used to put Nneoma's picture on the screen of Emmanuel TV when T.B. Joshua prayed. I was so shocked to see her in the church that day," Emmanuel explained, adding that he was hearing this confession from Nneoma for the very first time. T.B. Joshua pledged to support Nneoma in her education so as to enable her to start a new life.

In the wake of Nigeria's recent anti-gay law, T.B. Joshua courted controversy in January 2014 when he declared that homosexuals should not be condemned.

"Judge not, so that you will not be judged. We should talk to people to be saved and not to die. I mean, we should talk salvation, not condemnation. The Bible is my standard," he said in a Facebook post.

"God hates sin, not sinners. When I say, 'Do not judge so that you will not be judged', I mean we should hate sin, not the sinner because sinners can change. If you have killed a sinner by judging him, there will be no opportunity for change. Sinners can be delivered. We should hate the act, not the people because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the 'spirit beings' that cause all these acts."

 

He clearly distanced himself however from the nation that he supported a homosexual lifestyle, saying, "If my parents were one, I would not have been given birth to. Those that are asking this question - if your parents were one, you would not have been given birth to. You that are reading me - if your parents were one, you would not be reading this today. Indian actor and Nigerian businessman arrested for drug trafficking

A top Bollywood actor, Nanduri Uday Kiran (29) and Nigerian national Rotimi Olusola Kehinde were today arrested by the East Zone Task Force Policemen in India for allegedly transacting a drug deal in Jubilee Hill in India.

According to India Police , Rotimi came to India on a business visa and developed local contacts in trafficking of narcotics drugs in Bangalore and Hyderabad after procuring drugs from one Hakeem, a Sudanese national residing in Delhi. They were arrested when both men were seen negotiating for the drug which cost  Rs 1,500 per gram and sold for Rs 3,000 per gram, depending on the clients needs.

15grams of hard drugs were found on both men when the were arrested. Uday Kiran acted in films like 'Parare', 'Rakshakulu', 'Yuvarajyam' and 'Facebook'.

In his last interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Drake made a comment about Jay Z always using art references in his raps, which he described as corny.

"It's like Hov can't drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect art at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny." Drake was quoted as saying

Ex-NAFDAC DG Mrs Dora Akunyili made her first public appearance yesterday at the National Conference in Abuja after going through an undisclosed ailment that nearly claimed her life. Mrs Akunyili confirmed to reporters that she just came out of a major illness but she was well now and just needed time to put on some weight. Almost doesn't look like the same woman. God be with her!

All you Naija celebrity men know you can have sex (plenty of it sef) without getting any woman pregnant, right? Olamide has joined the growing list of celebs having kids outside marriage as his long-time girlfriend, Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman, is said to be expecting a baby.

Bukunmi is the same girl he flaunts on his instagram page (though he recently deleted most of her pics from his page) and calls her the 'love of his life' and 'boo from day one'. Congrats to them.

Olamide denies expecting a baby with longtime girlfriend

So I wrote a story today that Olamide is expecting a baby with his longtime girlfriend, Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman. Someone in his camp put the story out because I am not the only news source to carry it, but anyway, Olamide has denied that this is true. He took to twitter about an hour ago to lash out at me. I feel like one, he's been waiting for the moment to lash out at me..lol. Which is fine. And two, I also see he's mad that I don't post his songs and videos on my blog. If I'm not posting it, it's because no one is sending to me...I'm a huge fan so.... Oh and love you too, boo! *wink*
